TERMS & CONDITIONS (contests & giveaways)

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE AGREEING & SUBMITTING YOUR INFORMATION TO HAPPY PLUGS.
These terms and conditions apply to any contests and/or giveaways sponsored and/or hosted by Happy Plugs AB. Participation in any sponsored Happy Plugs contest/giveaway is free of charge and free of obligation to acquire or use any products with payment. By taking part in the contests, participants declare themselves in agreement with the rules of the contest:
PARTICIPATION
Individuals wishing to be eligible for the draw must have taken part in the contest and must have followed all contest rules. You may participate if you are 16 years of age or older, or the age required by law. Winner(s) will be drawn at the end of the contest period. No obligation to purchase applies.
If a contest/giveaway involves receiving a prize, which is to be delivered to a participant’s home address, only participants living in a country/on a location where Happy Plugs delivers to may participate. Contests/giveaways hosted or sponsored by Happy Plugs are not valid in Italy due to interpretations of the current regulations by the competent ministry of Italy.
Contests/giveaways is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, state and municipal laws and regulations.
CONTEST SUBMISSION
By submitting any content such as pictures, videos, captions, texts etc., in correlation with a Happy Plugs contest and/or giveaway, participants grant Happy Plugs and its affiliated companies a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to edit and use the content for all marketing and advertising purposes, including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, WeChat, LinkedIn, Weibo and www.HappyPlugs.com. This license can also be shared by Happy Plugs and its affiliated companies to third party collaborators for the purpose of promoting products under the Happy Plugs brand.
If a participant is under 18 years old, he/she guarantees that they have parental consent. Furthermore, participants certify that the content submitted does not violate any rights of a third party or any law.
DISQUALIFICATION FROM CONTEST
Happy Plugs is entitled to exclude participants from the contest if there is justifiable evidence for doing so, (e.g. infringement against the rules, influencing the contest or manipulation etc.).
SELECTING & INFORMING WINNER(S)
Contributions submitted to contests will be judged on their creativity and originality, unless otherwise specified. Official Happy Plugs social media accounts or the account owner (ie. social media influencer) will select the winner(s). Once the winners have been determined, they shall be informed via email or direct message on a social media medium. Winners are required to respond within 7 days to submit the address for the prize to be delivered. Otherwise, their prize shall be forfeited.
PRIZE DISTRIBUTION
Prizes shall be distributed only to prize-winners. Prizes will be in the form of Happy Plugs products, unless otherwise stated. They may not be exchanged or redeemed for equivalent cash value. Upon receipt of the winner’s response to the e-mail informing of their win, Happy Plugs will automatically send the prize to the address on file. The prize-winner is responsible for any taxation that may apply to the prize.
JURISDICTION
Happy Plugs reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions or terminate the Contest at any time. Happy Plugs will post notice of any changes or termination on social media or www.HappyPlugs.com.
These Terms and Conditions are governed and construed in accordance with Swedish law.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Any personal data that participants provide to Happy Plugs, in connection to contests, will be saved by Happy Plugs. Happy Plugs is entitled to disclose any personal data to third parties involved in the contest, in order to provide a winner with a prize.
Any information provided to Happy Plugs by a contestant must be accurate and complete. Winner(s) of a contest/giveaway will be notified by Happy Plugs within 7 days from the date the contest/giveaway was completed. Happy Plugs may request a winner to provide proof of their identity, before presenting a prize.
As of 25 May 2018, if you are an EU citizen or resident, you have the right to request access to the personal data that we store about you. You also have the right to request that incorrect or incomplete personal data is corrected. Furthermore, you have the right, to the extent our processing is based on your consent, to at any time revoke your consent to our processing of your personal data.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Inspection Board should you wish.
The right to data portability covers such personal data that you have provided to us and which we process either based on your consent or in order to fulfill our contractual obligations in relation to you. This typically includes your name, e-mail address and address.
